Petra Sleglova's journey is a colorful one. Born in the Czech Republic, she moved to Australia in 2011 with her partner and daughter seeking new opportunities. It was in 2013 that she discovered her love for polymer clay artistry.
Her passion led her to SisterWorks where she found a diverse community bound by a shared love for art and craft. It was here she created her brand, By Petra. Petra now creates vibrant jewelry from her Langwarrin home studio, inspired by nature and bright colors.
Her advice to women in similar situations: Embrace opportunities that come your way; you never know where they'll lead. Petra aims to continue nurturing her creativity and promoting handmade art in a machine-made world.
