Vanessa has been creating stunning jewellery since she was 15, spreading the beauty of natural gemstones and crystals through her designs. Alongside her mother, they built a successful decade-long venture in the bustling Guadalajara, Mexico.
Vanessa said goodbye to her job, mother and home when she followed her heart to Australia for love. Since arriving, she has built her own independent jewellery business here in Australia from scratch.
Her brand Cocokanela Design is where wearable art embraces nature's magic. Her combine her Mexican heritage with bohemian themes to embody her vision of connecting with nature through well-crafted jewellery.
Along with showcasing her jewellery through Sisterworks stores, she was also our ex Retail Lead, sharing her entrepreneurial prowess to empower fellow Sisters. Besides her artistic pursuits, you may have heard Vanessa as a broadcaster on radio, commentary and as a TV host, making her a versatile talent.
