Chantcristy Souk, Cambodia
Chantcristy Souk moved from Cambodia to Australia to care for her injured father and, in the process, discovered her love for crafting handmade items.
Through SisterWorks, Chantcristy secured a full-time job at Seer Medical, gaining personal and financial independence. Beyond her work at Seer Medical, Chantcristy continues to showcase her creativity through a range of handmade products, including makeup bags and hair accessories, all of which she sells through the SisterWorks shop.
Chantcristy's advice to women facing similar challenges is to believe in their ability to create a better future. She dreams of owning her own shop and a studio for her craft, where she can share her love for handmade items.
Working with SisterWorks, Chantcristy found a supportive community, opportunities to improve her skills, and a platform to showcase her products. This experience allowed her to embrace diversity and make a positive social impact.
